PERFECT PICKS

We set out to build an MVP for a Pick’em Game in order to capture insights around sports betting with our app audience. By creating a simple beta version, we were able to test our assumptions of first-time and casual bettors as it relates to the sports betting landscape at large. We delivered the game into the hands of our users quickly and generated an abundance of data points based on learnings from our users’ behaviors.



To understand the breadth of the game mechanics, we began by fleshing out the scenarios and potential directions a given player could find themselves in.










Initial Concept Explorations: We played around with some concepts and explored widely and liberally, but we also made it seamless for the player and considered how it might holistically apply across our app.
